Arinacraig is a traditional Skye cottage occupying an iconic location in breathtaking isolation on the west slope of Loch Slapin, beneath Blaven mountain.The cottage has been sympathetically restored to provide comfortable and welcoming accommodation for up to five people.
Arinacraig is situated about 8 miles from Broadford and 35 miles from Portree on the B8083 Elgol road.
Accommodation comprises of utility room - ideal for drying wet clothes leading into a hallway from which all ground floor rooms are accessed and a staircase leading to all of the rooms on the first floor.
The cottage is heated by a combination of portable electric heaters in the living room and in all bedrooms and a woodburning stove in the kitchen which also feeds a secondary heating system throughout the ground floor.
The sitting room is relaxed with a large raised open fire and a selection of books, games and films for cosy Skye evenings.
The two main bedrooms upstairs are airy and bright -one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. A third bedroom provides an additional cot bed. All principal rooms feature a breathtaking view over Loch Slapin towards Torrin village.
